Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal
Nakhon Sawan has a railway station on Thailand’s Northern Line running from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, but no local airport. This means that for travel from Nakhon Sawan to destinations other than those on the Northern Railway Line the only public transport available is by bus and minivan from Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal.
About Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal
Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal is conveniently located in Nakhon Sawan town centre. You can easily walk there from the area where most of the hotels are located, which is around the edges of Paradise Park. Nakhon Sawan receives very few tourists and even fewer foreign visitors which means that the bus station and the services provided are focused on the travel needs of people living and working in Nakhon Sawan. Many of the routes are to and from smaller towns such as Saraburi and Uthai Thani in minivans and older buses for very low prices.
Bus services at Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal
Many of the more luxurious intercity bus services to and from Bangkok stop off on route at Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal although getting a seat on one of those service from Nakhon Sawan is often difficult and involves booking in advance. Generally if you turn up at the bus station and you want to travel on the same day you need to take a minivan or one of the lower quality cheaper services. For short distance journeys this is not much of a hardship, but for long distance journeys, up to Chiang Mai for example, perhaps consider booking yourself a sleeper berth on a train instead.

Facilitiesat Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal
Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal is a small bus station with not much in the way of facilities. The station has toilets and one small poorly stocked shop at the other end of the waiting area from the ticket hall. There is no left luggage service at Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal. There are, however, lots of tuk-tuks, motorbike taxis and shared taxis available for private hire which wait in the front of the main entrance to the bus station and in the car park on the west side of the waiting area.

Buy Tickets at the Bus Station
The ticket offices at Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal are located near to the main entrance. The ticket windows by the seating are for regular minivan and bus services. The signage is mostly in the Thai language and if you don’t read Thai it is confusing trying to work out which window you need to go to buy your ticket. The information desk at the station we found to be very unhelpful in terms of directing passengers.
Ticket hall at Nakhon Sawan Bus Terminal
Transport Company Ltd, which is the Thai state owner transport company and one of the best service providers operating in Thailand, has its own ticket office which is located in a building in the car park facing the bus station.
